The bed and breakfast “Il Giglio Bianco” is located in Sorrento, more precisely in Via Parsano, an old street parallel through the perimeter of the ancient walls of Sorrento from the Greek era.
Tasso square (Piazza Tasso), the main square of Sorrento, is situated about 400 metres away, as well as the main street “Corso Italia” full of boutiques and shops of all kinds.
The Circumvesuviana train station is instead 700 meters away, although direct trains leave every 20 minutes to other parts of the peninsula of Sorrento, Pompeii, Ercolano and Naples. This is also the terminal for the SITA buses that go to the Amalfi coast with stops in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
Also the port of Sorrento is easily accessible on foot, walking down a long staircase which starts from Piazza Tasso.
From which hydrofoils and ferries leave for Capri, Ischia and Naples. Fear not: If you don’t feel like facing the uphill staircase when you come back, at the Harbour you will find buses and shuttles that will bring you back to the Center.
The b&b Giglio Bianco also is just 100 metres from the Congress Centre of the Hilton Sorrento Palace and from a spa where you can enjoy a day of pure relaxation.
Given the central position of our b&b and excellent connections by public transport for excursions during the day you should certainly leave the car at home so to speak, in any case it is more convenient for you to reach us by car, we have a parking a few meters from the b&b at a cost of 10 euros per day.
HOW TO REACH US
The b&b Giglio Bianco is located in via Parsano, a side street of via degli Aranci, one of the main streets of Sorrento. To walk to the bed and breakfast, once arrived in Sorrento, from Piazza Tasso climb up via Fuorimura, at the end of the street turn right into via Santa Lucia and take the small alley via Parsano you find near the Church. After just a few meters, on your left, you’ll find the entrance gate of the Giglio Bianco.
If instead you decide to reach us by car take via degli Aranci and turn onto via Parsano. Walk about 30 Mt and then turn left continuing until the end of the road, there you will find the parking of the B&B, situated in a private citrus & lemon garden.
